Rihanna plagiarized “BBHMM” from underground Houston Rapper

RiRi’s latest single Bitch Betta Have My Money is receiving speculation of plagiarism! A female rapper from Houston, TX who goes by the name of Just Brittany is furious about Rihanna stealing the chorus from her original track “Betta Have My Money.” Bet you haven’t heard it…press play right here

Allegedly, the trap song was first released by the Houston rapper during the summer of 2014 as a part of a mixtape that has yet to be finished. The songs sound extremely similar in tempo and the chorus is definitely the same, RiRi just added her twist to it. We would not classify this as imitation, but Rihanna definitely bit Brittany right in the ass with this one. The track has reached no. 9 on the U.S. Billboard charts and still climbing after only being available on iTunes for two weeks. RiRi’s performance of BBHMM at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards only did more to make the track a hit – it has over 2 million views on you tube.

What do you guys think? Did Rihanna steal the track, or nah? Join the conversation, leave a comment bellow. And don’t forget to SHARE!

  1. I think she stole it… Maybe not her personally, but her label certainly did… At least they okayed it without checking, so yeah it’s definitely stolen.
