It’s safe to say that urban pop star Justin Timberlake stole the show at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards. His acceptance speech for all SEVEN awards, took surprised viewers and sparked controversy all at the same time. Justin comically called out former clippers owner Donald Sterling in his speech saying: [pullquote-left] “It is not a competition, but if it was, I won. I want to thank everyone on Earth, except Donald Sterling.”[/pullquote-left]
Although Justin couldn’t be at the award show, which was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 18, he appeared via satellite to accept his award for Top Artist, which was his seventh of the night. JT also won Top Male Artist, Top R&B Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist.
